"Great Place Will be Back"
Pros: large room, quiet, clean, plenty of parking, good location, 12pm checkout time, newly remodeled nice rooms, good amenities include pool, spa, sauna, steam room, laundry room, computers. Cons: breakfast, pillows, wifi could be better

"Anniversary Getaway"
The hotel is going through a much needed remodel on the outside. The rooms are very large, everything works and the beds are comfortable. I found a deal good on TravelZoo.Com. I would stay here again. It's close to Yosemite and that's why we went there.

Wonderful place. Very clean rooms, good breakfast. It was everything I expected and a little more. The staff were very friendly. One staff member went out of his way to help me with the computer downstairs and send a fax.

"Cozy hotel"
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights over the weekend. The staff were friendly and helpful and the town was welcoming. However, we were placed in the handicapped room and neither of us were in need of accommodations. The room smelled funky and when we requested to move they told us all rooms were full. Nevertheless, the stay was fine and we enjoyed our visit, but def happy to be back in our own home.

I really enjoyed the stay at YOSEMITE SOUTHGATE HOTEL AND SUITES. The rooms are very spacious, clean. The staffs were nice and efficient. I also liked there complimentary breakfast. Like to stay again if there is any plan for Yosemite in future.

"Good place for Yosemite but do not rely on information the staff gives you about the park"
Very nice room with fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. Good place to go into Yosemite (but probably not in winter because the police often requires snow chains on all cars on the street coming from Oakhurst into the park).

"Good comfortable place to stay close to Yosemite"
We stayed here one evening before going to Yosemite. The rooms were spacious, quiet, very clean, with a comfortable bed, hanging space, dressers, a TV that worked, a coffemaker and microwave. The bathroom was large and the shower was excellent. In the morning, breakfast was in the spacious lobby, with so many options to eat We used Pool & Hot tub & it was good experience playing their, We were happy with our choice and had a restful night. If you are planning to go through Yosemite, this would be a good place to stay because it's not that far from the park entrance.
