"Good accommodation for visiting Yosemite National Park"
This is a very nice hotel, very clean and close to the National Park. It is on the main road leading into the park but still quiet in the rooms. We had a balcony on the front and the rooms are very spacious, comfortable beds, lovely bathroom just as photos show. There is a laundry which is very handy. The breakfast is adequate Continental with cereal, boiled eggs, fruit etc. Had a very nice one day stay there and would definitely return, high recommend this hotel. It was a shame we couldn't have stayed longer. I do not have any negative comments to make other than it was expensive as were all the other hotels as we were there on a weekend holiday so it was extremely busy at the National Park. Anyone booking this hotel won't be disappointed. Jeannie from the UK.

"Yosemite Southgate"
My husband and I feel the highlight of our trip to Yosemite was staying at the Yosemite Southgate Hotel. The best part was the staff. Helpful, patient, encouraging, and just plain fun to deal with. Thank you!

Free parking and breakfast. food were good. small dining area but nice and clean. Room was much bigger than I expected. room was clean. Hotel staffs were nice. I will recommend to other to stay at this hotel. paid about total in between $150 to 180 for one night and I consider fair for the national park stay in mid August. I used to paid more than this price and the room was old, small, and nasty.

Clean spacious room, nice staff, nice pool towels. Pool could have been a little warmer. Good breakfast but would have liked to have different fruits on different days

Very nice hotel. Room was super spacious and comfy. Everything was clean and tidy. People going to Yosemite have high expectations for the Continental Breakfast and hit it really hard -- tough for the staff to keep up. Since the room includes a micro-refrigerator and microwave, we took part of our evening's dinner back to the room for breakfast the next day. Staff is very helpful and kind. Oakhurst has most everything you should need -- this hotel, groceries, restaurants, tourist info. etc.

This place was a treat! Very spacious rooms with a vanity, sofa, and bar area. Very clean place with a friendly staff. The pool and spa were perfect after a day in the park. The basic breakfast helped begin our day for the next journey.

This hotel is clean, comfortable and the rooms are a nice size, unexpectedly large and with great accommodations (table and chair in room). The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming. The breakfast was a bit sparse with very little room for many guests. The hotel's proximity to Yosemite and location in a town with a drugstore, food market and multiple restaurants,made it even better! We would definitely stay there again...great choice.

"Good place to stay!"
This hotel was clean, well-appointed, and fit our needs well. We stayed one night, prior to our tour of Yosemite. Breakfast was average, coffee was good.

"Stayed for a day trip to Yosemite"
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Walls are a bit paper thin as we could really hear the guests above us. But this wasn't anything that kept us up. Location is walking distance to several restaurants. I would recommend this hotel as a clean and comfortable place to stay.

Very clean hotel, good size room with new equipment. It has a big sofa which works out well for my toddler. Free continental breakfast with very basic food provided, but you can't complain about it as it's so close to Yosemite.

"Sports car tour"
Great hotel for multiple large rooms, convenient location to Yosemite and great scenic roads. Very friendly staff. Not much room in the breakfast area. No disposable shower cap, which is usually provided.
