Some of the first floor rooms open onto the pool, so they'll be noisy.

Overall, our family thought this place was fine. We stayed 3 nights for a weekend getaway to visit Yosemite. We went on a tour of Yosemite one day which picked us up at the hotel, and we went horseback riding the next, which was about 30 minutes away. We rented two mini suites (one for the kids and one for the 'Rents). The rooms were clean and roomy, each with a mini fridge, microwave, little individual coffee makers (we used them for hot chocolate), and seating/eating area with table and 2 chairs. The adult room also had a couch. The staff was helpful, breakfast was the usual continental fare (waffle maker, cereal, apples, yogurt, toast, muffins) which was fine. The kids liked the pool and hot tub. Denny's was on the property, and there were a bunch of restaurants in short driving distance, plus a Vons and Raley's grocery stores. It's across the street from the Visitor's Center. There were comments in the reviews about construction, but we didn't see any. The quibbles: the internet went in and out sporadically. There's a sign at the front desk that says their internet is weak. The front desk person was pretty iffy about whether streaming is possible or allowed, so we didn't even try to hook up Neflix. No ESPN, so we didn't get to see the NBA playoffs; no local channels, so we couldn't watch any news (there was HBO and NFL Network, though). No newspaper or rack either. Although there was nothing wrong with our air conditioner, it proved challenging to regulate our room temperature at night, so we got a little hot. Maybe that was something we were doing wrong, who knows. Overall, it was a good value for the money. They just need to get faster, more reliable internet!
